Do I need to arrange my own hosting?
No. We can arrange and manage secure hosting for you as part of a monthly Website Care plan. If you prefer to hold the hosting account yourself, we can build the site and set it up on your own hosting instead.
Can you register and connect my domain?
Yes. We can help you choose a suitable domain, register it on your behalf and connect it correctly to your new website. Domain connection is included in every one-off website package; the domain registration fee itself is charged at third-party cost.
Who owns the domain and the website?
You do. Domains are registered in your business name wherever possible, and after final payment on a one-off build you receive full administrator access to the website.
How many business email addresses do I get?
Starter and Business packages include one professional email address, and Premium includes up to three. Additional mailboxes can be added at any time — email licences are billed at the third-party provider's cost.
How long does a website take to build?
A Starter site is typically ready in one to two weeks, a Business site in two to three weeks and Premium or Online Shop projects in three to six weeks. Timings begin once we have your content and depend on how quickly feedback is returned. Priority turnaround is available for an additional 25%.
What happens after my website goes live?
One-off customers take over updates, hosting, email and renewals themselves, with fourteen days of technical support after launch. If you would rather we kept everything running, add a monthly Website Care plan from £49 per month.
Can you update my existing website?
In most cases, yes. Send us the current website address in the enquiry form and we will confirm whether we can take it on or whether a rebuild would serve you better.
What is included in the monthly management fee?
Managed hosting, security checks, backups, domain-renewal management and website changes. The amount of change time included each month depends on the plan you choose.
